Your information and participation

What we collect

Information you provide in membership, volunteer or contact forms: name, contact details, chapter location, voluntary skills and your message. Your sign-in account identifier associates the submission with you. We do not request PVC numbers, identity documents or payment information.

Membership photographs and card verification

Members may upload a passport photograph for their network card. Photographs are held privately and visible only to the member and the authorised administrator. Replacing a photograph returns the registration to pending review. Deleting a membership submission removes its associated photographs. The public QR verification page shows only the reference and whether the record is currently approved; it does not show the photograph, name, phone, email or location. Anyone with the code can check its current status. A copied code does not establish the presenter’s identity.

Why we use it

To review your request, coordinate network participation and respond to enquiries. Participation may reveal political interests. Submission is voluntary and requires your consent; avoid including sensitive information about other people.

Access and storage

Submissions are stored in the site database and accessible through the authorised coordinator workspace. Information is not sold. Public profiles require separate consent. Activity logs retain action and reference identifiers for accountability; they do not store copies of your form details.

Anonymous website activity

We record public page paths, navigation and contact-link clicks, and successful document downloads to understand website use. This tracking does not collect IP addresses, visitor identifiers, query strings, typed form values or message contents. Counts begin when tracking is enabled and may omit blocked or rate-limited events. Authorised administrators can search and export these records.

Chapter reports and accountability

Approved participants may submit private chapter activity reports. Administrators review these reports and manage private financial records and receipt evidence. Member directories and membership cards are restricted to authorised administrators or the relevant member. Only separately approved and published summaries are public; financial summaries contain aggregate totals rather than receipt files or personal transaction details. In-app admin notifications record action references. Admin recovery uses the verified owner account and an expiring, single-use challenge.

Events, diaspora and newsletter preferences

Event registrations, reminder preferences, diaspora enquiries and newsletter requests are private. A diaspora profile is public only after separate explicit consent and administrator approval, and shows only the name, country and approved profile text. Newsletter sending requires address confirmation and a configured sender. Scoped coordinators may review reports within their approved geographical scope; they cannot access the member directory or financial records.

Withdraw these requests or unsubscribe through Participation preferences. Withdrawing an access request removes effective coordinator access.

Your choices

You can view, edit membership or volunteer details, or delete your submissions through My account. You can also ask to access, correct or delete your submission, or withdraw consent, through the contact form using the “Privacy request” topic. Please identify the relevant request. Coordinators can permanently delete records in the workspace.

Retention and contact

Keep records only while necessary for the request and network administration; coordinators must review and remove records when no longer required. For privacy enquiries, contact dannasir2007@gmail.com or call +234 806 867 9513. These are temporary contacts; full operating details remain to be confirmed.
